Oh,and the police guy that does not want to apply the law to these drug smugglers, will you guys in Arizona fire him as he is a disgrace to the uniform.|||The military have been proven time and again to not be the smart choice for crowd control. Some 18 year old with a rifle is not superior to trained law enforcement.|||Not all protesters are illegal...and they're not all drug smugglers.
and it's down 'there' in Arizona

*sigh*|||The protesters down 'there' are not illegal protesters, they're entirely legal. And the military is not in the business of 'arresting' people. Don't you have anything better to do?|||That's the most un-American thing I've heard all day. If you don't like it here, why don't you leave?|||No, not as long as they are peaceful protesters. That is the great thing about America, we have a right to an opinion., even, in this case, it is a stupid one. Arizona law enforcement should ask these protesters for proof of citizenship. I can't imagine any American citizen protesting this law.|||What illegal protesters? Dissent is patriotic, otherwise we would still be bowing to a Queen (or a King).

Indeed, the right to protest is guaranteed in Article I of the Bill of Rights:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; OR THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO PEACEABLY ASSEMBLE, AND TO PETITION THE GOVERNMENT FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES." (Emphasis mine, to highlight relevant portion of First Amendment.)

Furthermore, a Sheriff or Police Chief who declines to enforce a law that is contrary to the Constitution (See Article I, Section 8) and usurps Federal Authority over Immigration is Not a Disgrace to the Uniform and Office of Chief of Police, but stands as an example to other Heads of Law Enforcement Agencies.
