The temperature won't go below 81 at night, and it takes a long time for it to even get there. I live in Tempe Arizona.|||There is no set temp. It should be able to cool the inside 20 degrees cooler then the outside if run continously. It sounds like you are letting the house heat up and then trying to cool it. It works better to run it at your desired temp constantly. 81 is not hot though.|||Arizona law does not state a specific temperature which you must be able to obtain. The term used is 'reasonable'. I suspect that an 80F evening temperature in AZ would be considered reasonable.
