I need to know where there are checkpoints between arizona and california, any and all ways to go through please.|||I have lived back and forth in AZ and southern Cali the past 3 years, so I do a lot of driving. A couple years ago I lived in 29 Palms, which is off the I-10 W on your way to LA. The only checkpoint is at the AZ/CA border and half the time it's closed, so you just drive right on through. Currently I live in San Diego which you take the I-8 W. There are TONS!!!! The first one is at the AZ/CA border, again 1/2 the time it's closed. Then they just set one up between Yuma and El Centro, then there's another one between El Centro and Alpine. And occassionally they'll sneak another temporary one in there somewhere. So going between San Diego and Phx there are usually 3-4 stops.|||There is a check point coming in Arizona off of the I-8. There is one in Serria Vista, One in Casa Grande. Half the time the aren't even staffed. Look at a map to get the roads going in and out of Arizona there are too many to list.
