I'm applying for a job in Arizona, but currently live in California. The job itself is a really good fit. But they ask in the application to explain why I want to move to Arizona if I don't already live there. What are some good reasons to give? The position is in Phoenix.|||- less air pollution - some asthma sufferers live there due to the relatively healthy air.
- less traffic compared to LA or SF (though Phoenix is more car oriented)
- lower cost of living
- lower density / more likely to find a suburban-style single family home (good or bad depends on your perspective)
- no earthquakes
- Phoenix has one of the highest population growth rates in the US -> more investment opportunities in the future.|||If your from Ca don't come to AZ. We already have to many from your state wanting to change AZ to be like CA. STAY PUT!|||You like rattlesnakes.
You like scorpions
You like rats and mice.
You like living in an oven.
If you are talking about Phoenix area.
you like traffic, and stress, and crowded places.
I took a job and sold everything within 6 months to escape that hell hole.|||Living in Arizona helps you appreciate how nice the other 49 states really are.
Better not say that on the application though.|||I'd say that you would like to live in an area with better job growth, that the job is a better fit for you, and you still want to stay in your area of the country, the Southwest.|||great people great wheather of course the most awesome state around!
