Hi everyone ,i want to start up a logistic transportation business in Arizona but right now im living in California ,the thing is that all the permits and licences are cheaper in Arizona ,so i want to operate the company from here in Cali but i need a physical address in Arizona , how can i get it , is there anybody that rents one or please tell me how to get one very cheap , thanks a lot god bless.|||Well, in order to get a physical address (I'm assuming that a P.O. Box would be out of the question), then you need to either be living there yourself, or know somebody who is willing to let you use their address.|||If you are operating the business from California, California law requires you to get their permits and pay their fees and taxes. There's no escaping Sacramento unless you actually move to AZ.
And by the way, an AZ transportation business can not accept either pickups or deliveries in CA unless it also has CA licenses and permits, and has paid CA taxes and fees. [Same also holds in reverse.]
Someone has to pay for all the money Sacramento wastes each year and that someone is every business in CA.
ugh.|||try a p.o box|||If you start a corporation, you need a registered agent street address in the state. Most attorneys will do that for you, maybe $100 a year.
Of course, since you are in CA, you need to file a foreign corporation in CA, which costs more than just doing business there.
