arizona: Just moved to Arizona. Never seen a Phoenix bird tattoo before. Here though, I've seen the bird, the abbreviation of the city PHX, the state flag, the actual state, all these tattoos as a representation of the state of Arizona, and I can't help but ask, what's the deal? I've been all over the country and never seen people who tattoo tributes to their state.|||wow i've lived in az my whole life (23 years) and never seen it... maybe the people you're around? i'll be on the lookout now that youve mentioned it|||Because we're proud to live in our state, that's why. Some people get tattoos of their favorite sports team from their state because thats the only thing they're proud of!
