In other words REAL evidence. What were the things that made it soooo clear that racism was behind Arizona's SB1040? Was it the 10 million illegals that stream across the boarder each year? Was it the high crime rate on the border? Was it the social services that are soaked up by illegals? Was it the black market jobs lost to illegals? Was it the exploitative environment and 2nd class citizenry that illegals endure because they didn't come through the front door? Was it the security checks that weren't done because they are here illegally? Was it the bypassing of the melting pot which has been the secret to immigration success in this country? Was it the training police officers have to go through in learning how to enforce the law? Is it the drug cartel snipers on hills that are now shooting at boarder agents? Is it the sense that immigrants should be following the law just like everyone else? Was it the restrictive conditions officers have to go through before checking for citizenship? Why hasn't there been one peep out of Arizona about curtailing legal entry of aliens if they are so interested in getting rid of brown-skinned people? Think about it. Making decisions on fear and what you want to believe instead of fact shows you still have some growing up to do. No, I don't agree with Obama about Arizona. I don't even care about what Mexico thinks. The Constitution is there for the people of the United States, not the people of the Mexico or the world. Mexico's "offense" at the whole illegal alien issue is bogus anyway. Being an illegal alien in Mexico means jail time in their country. It has nothing to do with rights for illegal aliens to the US. It has everything to do with economics. Mexico WANTS it's people in the US so it doesn't have to take care of them. The aliens also send back money that goes into the Mexican economy. There is also a sense that the boarder is illegitimate anyway. Many Mexicans still have this feeling that the Southwest is somehow still theirs. They feel that they are being kept off their land (at least emotionally) and should have free right of passage.|||None of the tax paying base is going to support this, or anyone who can think for themselves would support this. Oh yea and anyone that actually knows what the United States is and stands for and what they are actually giving up would support this and no we aren't racist.
