I am going to Arizona in 3 days and i was wondering besides the basics (shorts, tank tops, shampoo and conditioner, body soap, hair brush, shoes, pony tails and bobbie pins). I am from Sothern Illinois. I am a girl so if you have anything else let me know.|||sun screen|||Camera, Gum, Pants, A watch ?|||Something to prove you're a US citizen, just in case....|||Arizona is a really warm place. The temperatures there can get to over 100 degrees, and the sun can also cause skin cancer if you get overexposed. Therefore, a good idea is to bring a sun hat or sunscreen. Also, be sure to pack a camera. Though it may be very warm there, it still is very beautiful. These are the some of the sure things to pack:
-Money (To buy souvenirs)
-Sun hat, sunscreen, etc. (Already mentioned)
-Camera, cell phone, anything to capture the beauty (Already mentioned)
-A laptop (So you can email your friends and tell them how it is)
-A book or handheld video game (Arizona is a long way from here, so you'd better have something to do along the way)
-A neck pillow (Whether you are going by car or plane, this is a must. Especially if you are driving there, it can get a little uncomfortable.)
-A water bottle. (Like I said, Arizona is very warm. Be sure to be hydrated!)
-Sunglasses (Again, for the sun)
-Pajamas (These should be in the "basics", but, well, without pajamas, what do you sleep in?)
-Cell phone (Though already mentioned, you need this to call and text people. A must.)
-An element of home (If you are going to be in Arizona for a long period of time, then a good idea is to bring an element of your home along the way to avoid getting too homesick. For example, you could bring a simple embroidered pillow or something from your house to remind you of your "home sweet home", so to speak.)
-Snacks! (If you are going by plane, this saves money, since airport food can get expensive. If you are going by car, this saves the gas that you waste by stopping for food. It also make you less hungry.)
-An appetite for FUN! (No need to say why.)
Well, I hope this helps! Have fun on your trip to Arizona!
