I am facing a disorderly conduct charge from the city prosecutor. In today's society having even a misdemeanor disqualifies someone from a decent job. I am from a state up north, and felonies of assault, drug traffic, theft keep individuals from easily securing employment.|||If you have an otherwise clean record and your crime does not involve violence or drugs, ask if you qualify for deferred adjudication. After paying the fine, if you commit no other crimes within a specified number of years, the charges, the misdemeanor would then be removed from your record.
