Could Arizona police pull over the presidential motorcade and arrest or detain the President on the grounds of reasonable doubt that he isn't a U.S. citizen?|||Whatever for?
Any who, they can try, but I doubt if they'd live to tell it.
next...|||With all the discussions of citizens not having to worry about SB1070 now a law, wouldn't you just figure? (in part)
"Arizona 鈥榖irther鈥?bill forces Obama to show birth certificate"
"UPDATE: The White House has ridiculed a proposed Arizona law that would force President Barack Obama to provide a birth certificate when he runs for president in the state in 2012, calling the legislation a waste of taxpayers' money.
"I can't imagine Arizona voters think their tax dollars are well served by a legislature that is less focused on their lives than in fringe right-wing radio conspiracy theories," White House spokesman Bill Burton told CNN. "This is a question that has been answered exhaustively."

"AZ House votes to verify native status of White House hopefuls"
"PHOENIX - Ignoring warnings of illegality from their own secretary of state, most House Republicans voted Wednesday to require him to verify that presidential candidates on the Arizona ballot are, in fact, born in the United States
SB 1024 would require political parties to submit to the Arizona secretary of state "documents that prove that the candidate is a natural born citizen, prove the candidate's age and prove that the candidate meets the residency requirements for President of the United States."
But the measure, approved 31-29 with no Democratic votes, goes even further. It gives the secretary of state the unilateral power to keep a candidate off the Arizona ballot if he or she has "reasonable cause" to believe the candidate is not qualified.
"I think that's incredible," said Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Phoenix."

"Arizona "Birther" Bill Dismissed by White House, Slammed by Critics"
"Kyrsten Sinema, a Democratic representative in the Arizona state legislature, said the "birther bill" recently advanced in the Arizona House would make the state "the laughing stock of the nation." Reaction to the legislation indicates people agree.
The Arizona House of Representatives on Monday voted 31 - 22 to advance a bill that would require Arizona's secretary of state to review a presidential candidate's birth certificate before that candidate could get on the ballot in the state.
The Arizona Republic reports, "The legislation originated from a fringe group that believes President Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and therefore ineligible to be president."

Tell me again how safe are citizens in AZ?|||No.
President's car is considered "US federal territory" and can not be interfered with by state authorities. It also had diplomatic immunity when being driven overseas.
However, there is no reasonable doubt that he is a US Citizen. That is just stupid talk and hopeful thinking by those who oppose him. He was born in Hawaii. If the birth certificate issue bothers you, the hospital records shows his mother coming in and having a baby. There are absolutely no records of her flying to Kenya and back.|||They could try to, but the Secret Service would most probably shoot them. Beside, President Obama is a Citizen, contrary to what a lot of knot-heads are saying. Also, even the Buba's in Arizona, have enough sense, not to jack with the secret Service.|||nope, that would be a federal issue. he is the president who is a legal citizen. two hawaiian newspapers had birth announcements. no way they knew then he would grow up to be president. non issue|||No. He is the President. It has already been proved he is a native born citizen.|||well, let's see if he visits Arizona
you made me laugh---thanks|||I say we buy his Aunt a Plane ticket to Arizona. Then have the Police nab here when she gets off the plane|||are you serious?|||If only....I'd pay a pretty price to have a curbside seat to view that!|||They could try... and the Secret Service would shoot them.|||A good scenario for a film ... with jack Bauer leaping to the rescue|||dream on.|||shut up he was born in the USA.You are a horrible person
