arizona: Earlier this year a measure was passed in Arizona that would get Businesses in trouble if they knowingly hired illegals. Since, most of the illegals have left. This has left many empty houses and empty seats in the public schools. What I want to know is, how are the people in Arizona benefiting from this new law?|||Jobs will be available, but now for a higher salary. That means that prices will also increase, everything will be more expensive, adding to the inflation|||el loco: How can you mislead people into thinking shrinking the workforce lowers unemployment. That's the same as France shortening the work week to lower unemployment, but it didn't work because when people work less or if less people work -- which is what you want --, then the economy shrinks. Report Abuse |||If there are more houses available, rent costs will go down, so people wont be getting the shaft on how much they pay for rent. There will be more houses to choose from, and it will draw people in from other states. If there are empty seats in the schools, then the kids that are there will get better attention from the teachers, because they are no longer overburdened by non english speaking kids that drag the educational level down. Again, if people from other states hear that the schools have smaller classes, it will draw them in. And you didnt mention the jobs that will be available. The businesses will have to cut their fat profit margins so they can pay a decent wage to Americans. Its good to see a state taking care of its own for a change.|||Cost of rent must have gone down. Less public resources spent on having to pay for bilingual education. Less public resources spent on healthcare and welfare for illegals. Fewer drunk driving deaths. More jobs, but honeslty most unemployed and underemployed Americans probably won't take those jobs because they are menial labor, so in that respect it is a negative. I guess the cost of doing business just went up. They are welcome to come back though.....legally.|||Extrapolation is the best way to answer this: How about every 2nd U.S. citizen leave the U.S. What would be the benefits? At least it would prove they, like the illegals, are not absolutely needed either. Nobody is. The average U.S. citizen would never qualify to immigrate to his own country. So why are native born citizens always more valued than foreigners? Because the native born citizens are the ones with political control, that's why. They are not going to reject themselves. It's sort of like the boss hiring his son who can't be fired. It's not based on objective worth. Come on people. This is like saying 1 group's poop smells better than another group's poop. How crowded could it be?|||More money to go to citizens. More jobs that will go to US citizens. More resources will go to people who are US citizens and not illegal aliens. Schools will improve. Health care will improve. Be easier to get places because you are not having to deal with the added illegal aliens on the roads...which means MORE gas to go around and less time spent in vehicles. Less Spanish speaking people which means Citizens will search AZ out to get away from these people! The Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence were all written in ENGLISH as well as all our laws.
