arizona: There's been some great controversy lately about the law that was recently passed in Arizona. Police officers are now allowed to pull people aside who they suspect may be illegal immigrants. But is all of this really necessary? How many illegals are there in Arizona?|||I can't go to a shopping center (in almost every city around here) near a Home Depot without being stared down or almost hitting one of these illegals who runs in front of my car. They have been allowed to loiter around, use our education system, and run their scams here long enough. This law will instill some kind of faith for me in this very crippled system. How are we supposed to be proud to be American when more and more non-citizens come here to not benefit our economy (by undercutting citizens wages), but to syphon our dollars back to Mexico? If they were to kick out all the Immigrants Arizona will become a poor state then it is now. Think of it this way Immigrants hold the state up with theres no one holding it it's going to fall. Some of it has to do with racism. There immigrants in the U.S from all over there world but they go after just the Mexicans. Its just like what the Tea Party trying to do its all build on hate.|||They don't live there - but AZ is a giant corridor for Drug Smugglers and Alien smuggling. 80% of all illegal drugs coming into the USA come through AZ - therefore they wanted more stringent rules to allow Police to stop and interrogate likely subjects.|||Arizona is the state with the largest number of illegal border crossings. There is a virtual flood of illegals streaming into Arizona.|||460,000 just heard it on fox news. but of course that is only an estimate since they are undocumented immigrants|||There are 25,000.000 illegal immigrants in the US right now. That means there are 500,000 per state.|||white collar workers and illegals do not have to obey laws|||Isn't one too many? Illegal means against the law. Should we abandon our laws?|||This time of year, maybe a thousand at the most.
