I just read that a Rhode Island Democrat Wants Arizona-Like Law and others may soon follow. Does anyone know which states may follow Arizona?
Thanks|||If Scott Walker (R-WI) is elected Governor of Wisconsin, we will also join Arizona in their fight to keep America SAFE and our borders secure.|||I hope the rest of the 57 states pass legislation that mirrors Arizona's law.

I said "57 states".|||all of them eventually|||I think a lot of states are monitoring this to see whether or not it will work before deciding to go ahead with it.|||New Mexico governor Bill Richardson decided yesterday to reinstate the requirement of the state's Children, Youth and Families Dept. to report illegals they find during the administration of their duties. That requirement had been rescinded some years back, but Richardson of all people has reinstated it. Coincidence? I think not.|||47
all of 'em except NJ and CA|||Alabama and Mississippi have been trying to that with African Americans since 1865, even though African Americans were actually born in America.
But before the 1964 Civil Rights Act, Blacks were harassed by the Police just for being Black, the Police thought that being born Black was a crime into itself.
Alabama and Mississippi enacted Jim Crow Laws which made it so intolerable that many Blacks left and migrated North.|||I don't know,but I hope Oklahoma jumps on that band wagon! It has gotten way out of hand in every state!|||I hope it's just the border states. I don't want to have to carry around my birth certificate.

According to a 9 - zip vote in the Muehler v. Mena case, police do not need reasonable suspicion to request documentation.
Illegals should be jumping for joy about Arizona's law. And hope the other 49 states pass something like it.|||Texas thrives on illegal immigration, so they won't.
