I live in Arizona and I received a ticket in the mail from a traffic camera for crossing an intersection on a yellow/red light. The cameras are set up with motion sensors. I have heard you can get away without paying the fine. Is there anyone that knows this is true from experience?|||Unpaid traffic will suspend your driver's license for a minimum of two years. So add it up:
Ticket is probably around $70. You could just pay that. Or, you could ignore it, drive with your suspended DL, get caught driving with that suspended DL, get another ticket, probably in the neigborhood of $140, have your car towed and pay another $150 to get it back. $290 vs $70. Not worth the risk.|||Every picture tells a story don't it. You may be able to cut the fine by doing community service. Good luck, if you didn't completely clear the intersection before the light turned red you can be fined. At least you wont have anyone to blame except for yourself. Please Drive Safely You wont gain much time if your in a hurry and get pulled over for speeding. Yellow light means prepare to come to a complete stop.|||just pay the fine or later on you will be sorry. They will get what is coming to them sooner or later, you will have someone knocking on your door with a bench warrant when you don't show to traffic court. Just pay the fine and save yourself a lot of trouble and remember to stop at red or yellow lights for your safety if nothing else.|||Sure, you can ignore it.
Of course, you'll get a bench warrant, and your license will be suspended. So, if that sounds worth it, go ahead.|||it will haunt you for ever if you try and ignore it.|||Question for your Question... why would you ignore it? Get it payed.. now.|||that's not right to get away with it. go pay for it. now.
