As Jan Brewer said, almost all Americans support arizona and what they are doing to combat illegals.

Of course illegals dont like it but they dont count.

Now when this lawsuit fails it will set a precedent that other states will follow. And the Federal Goverment will have to accept that and eventualy pass the same law that arizona did throughout the country.

Do you think they know this and this is just a play to make illegal supporters think that the goverment is trying to help them.|||since sb1070 mirrors Federal law i cannot see how obama and his ilk could win in court. the only lawsuit here should be against the federal government for not enforcing THEIR immigration laws.|||I don't believe arizona is doing anything illegal or uncostitutional. I fully support arizona on trying to enforce a law that is already in place. If a police stops you for some violation and finds out that you are not even supposed to be in the country then you should go to jail and get deported...it really makes me upset when every one talks about illegal mexicans in this country as the major immigration problem when there are thousands of others who come here legally and try to find ways to stay in this country....i have been here for the past 8 years and i have maintained a student visa all along and sometimes i wonder if the federal gov.passes an immigration reform, will it help people like me who came here legally and are still here legally or will it just help those illegals.......do i have to be illegal just like them so that the gov. can help me too????
the lawsuit against arizona will never work|||YES. I can not understand why the suit has not been filed yet. The Fed does not know what to do, or they would have done it already. Talk is cheep.|||It depends. I'd have to see on what grounds the law is being challenged. From reading the existing case law, a challenge based upon preemption or discrimination is unlikely to succeed. The Feds will have to come up with something original. And the lawsuit has not been filed yet and I have a suspicion that it will never be. The US Attorney General is awfully vague about how he intends to proceed so it may just be empty rhetoric.|||well, for one thing, it will be heard in the 9th District Federal Court, which is overwhelmingly the most Federal liberal court in the US. so, I'd say it certainly could succeed there. even then, it would likely go on to the Supreme Court, and it may succeed there as well. However, certainly if it does fail other states will pass similar legislation.|||This is going to be interesting. If they use normal grounds.. infringement on American Sovereignty, I think they will loose. I also think they have had their best and brightest working on it, and I don't think that is the way they are going to go. We gotta see what come out at the time of the presentations.|||The immigrants problem will not change , ever! one way or another it will keep happening.

It costs 8k to get a valid (real) drivers licence from the dmv they will just start doing those things

Corruption will be promoted and they will be still in the US except that will b undercover .
