arizona: When is it hot enough to start swimming in phoenix,arizona?|||In Phoenix, early May is about the time when our pool is warm enough to spend any reasonable amount of time in. The kids will test the waters in April, but generally it's still not quite warm enough for anything past a few splashes. If there is a heated pool (not all that common due to the extreme cost of heating one), year round. But again, even many people with the ability to heat their pools typically do not. Just way too expensive.|||May?! holy crap they must be from here... i am from boston and i grew up in freezing weather, so i think its hot enough to swim here in April and maybe even the end of March. but i am also used to swimming in 67 degree pools and everybody who grew up here lets theirs heat to freakin 80 before they'll go swimming in it lol|||I'm sure you can go anytime as long as the pool is heated.
