I want to make designer handbags with heavy and lightweight materials but I need a machine that can keep up. Im not sure of the best place in phoenix arizona to purchase a machine like this and I hate ordering things online. I never know what I am going to get and I would like to support local business' if at all possible.|||Look in the phone book for industrial or commercial machine dealers, and start talking to them. Industrials are often single-stitch machines; sometimes so specialized that *this* machine is optimized for lightweight fabrics, and *that* one for heavy fabrics, and *this other one* was designed solely to sew bills on baseball caps.

A typical industrial machine will have its own table, a separate motor, and will need an oil bath for lubrication. There are now some semi-industrial machines that are portable and don't need an oil bath... you'll have to figure out what will work for you.
