A friend and I want to take a roadtrip to Arizona in my new convertible. What places would be best to go if we wanted to see the real desert and the least people? Thank you!|||The area north of the Grand Canyon is very secluded and desert like. The area is called the Arizona Strip. It is the size of Massachusetts and has a total population of less than 9,000 people. However, many of the roads are gravel. Not to mention all the dust out in the desert. Probably not somewhere you'd want to take a new car.
